Motor MotoGP Ducati Desmosedici pelopor aplikasi perangkat tambahan di swing arm yang namanya ternyata sama dengan alat makan, sendok

Itulah kenapa kubu Ducati bersikeras menampik bila sendok atau perangkat tambahan di swing arm itu tujuannya untuk mendinginkan suhu ban belakang.

Alhasil, membuat tingkat keausan ban lebih irit.

Nah sekarang baru tahu bukan, jika perangkat tambahan di swing arm atau lengan ayun di motor MotoGP Ducati yang lantas difotokopi skuat lain. 

Pabrikan lain itu di antaranya; Aprilia, Suzuki, KTM dan juga Honda namanya sama dengan alat makan, sendok.

#MotoGPInParts - The Spoon. Whether you call it 'the spoon', 'the swingarm attachment' or something else, it arrived on the scene in a big way last season. The Spoon, first designed by Ducati, is an aerodynamic device first and foremost. In Ducati's case, it aims to work with the front wheel cover to help to smooth and concentrate airflow from the start of the bike to after it, helping to reduce drag in the process! ???? With it's unique shape, the spoon directs air upwards slightly and around the face of the rear wheel, helping the air to be directed around the face of the rear tyre and thus the turbuent air caused by the rear wheel's rotation. So in this sense, the spoon is primarily for reducing drag and increasing the top speed of the motorcycle. However, it would show there's more to it than that. ???? One effect that was discussed at length was whether the spoon helped to keep rear tyre temperatures down. By concentrating the air you increase its density and speed causing it to have greater potential to draw temperature away from the surface of the rear tyre. ???? It's also thought that the spoon can help to balance out the motorcycle. With large aero packages on the front of the motorcycle, the downforce created by the spoon can help to level out the bike when perfect bike balance is needed, while still allowing the front aero to pitch the front end down slightly when greater front feeling and turning is needed. With the spoon creating downforce, it can help greatly with hard breaking, helping to keep the rear tyre on the ground so the rider can use the rear brake! ????
